Walkthrough for Windows retired

2019 – 2020

Walkthrough for Windows was a desktop application built in AutoHotkey that turned fact-checking into an interactive, step-by-step demonstration. A user would navigate the web normally while the tool captured annotated screenshots at each stage, producing a scrollable walkthrough that showed exactly how the SIFT method plays out in practice. The walkthroughs below apply the method to real claims that circulated online, from the Klan Ferris Wheel photo to Operation Mockingbird to whether you really ingest a credit card's worth of plastic per week.
