How to read it
Lane colors per character: ● value 1 · ● value 2 · ● value 3. Full color = value expressed/inhabited at that beat. Light shade = value explicitly rejected or violated by the character at that beat. Empty cell = value not present at that beat. Lanes that are dense early and sparse late show a value being abandoned; the inverse shows a value being adopted. Lanes that fire together at the same beat show values that are momentarily co-present (often at climaxes).
