Dennis Franz (born October 28, 1944) is an American actor best known as Andy Sipowicz on NYPD Blue (1993–2005). He appeared in two Brian De Palma films: as Manny Karp in Blow Out (1981) and as Rubin, the exploitation-film director, in Body Double (1984). He is the only actor to appear in both De Palma films covered in this wiki.
