Philip Kaufman (born October 23, 1936, Chicago) is an American filmmaker who directed Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), The Right Stuff (1983), The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988), and Henry & June (1990). He also co-wrote Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).
